The Original Tribute to the Blues Brothers

Hard to believe that it’s 31 years since Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi  hit the big screen with the Blues Brothers movie, not so hard to believe that this amazing tribute to Jake and Elwood rocks on.

Brad Henshaw and Daniel Fletcher have been playing to sell out theatres across Europe for years and somehow just get better and better. The opening night of their all new 2011 tour at Hall For Cornwall was probably their best yet, with great comedy moments, the superb Blues Brothers Band playing all the classics and the vibrant Bluettes – 3 ladies with amazing voices and an abundance of energy.

The audience cheered and clapped their way through the endless list of favourites which included ‘Gimme Some Lovin’, ‘Respect’ and ‘Jailhouse Rock’, a classy rendition of ‘Minnie The Moocher’ by The Rev and a spine tingling version of ‘Under The Boardwalk’. The 2 hour show held the audience spellbound with incredible choreography, an amazing array of fast costume changes and an innovative set. With excellent techie work on sound and lights, the Blues Brothers gave fans a song in our hearts and a night to remember.
