Jack Wallen lived the dream on Monday night when he suddenly found himself in front of almost two thousand people after James Morrison chose him as support for this amazing charity gig.
Jack played a 30 minute set of his own original material, with backing support from Aaron Barker on percussion. A bundle of nerves prior to walking on stage, Jack’s confidence and maturity kicked in and he rose to the occasion like an old hand. His writing belies his young age, with strong lyrics and beautiful melodies he captivated the audience, even managing some cheerful banter as friends and family cheered him on. Each song was warmly received with roars of approval and shouts for ‘more’ as he closed his set.
A superb choice as opener for the evening, remember the name - we will be hearing more of this charming young man from the heart of Cornwall.
