A Place By The Sea
PREVIEW
A Place By The Sea
Cribhut Theatre
With an acclaimed first production in the form of Kettleboys and Captains, Cribhut Theatre found themselves on a mission to create an equal; I’m delighted to report that
A Place By The Sea has shaped up nicely.
Writer Rod Tinson weaves a captivating story of Buzz and Bea, television entertainers with a tragic secret. As the story unfolds, we are taken on a journey through their past; finding loss and sadness along the way. There are questions to be answered – who is the beautiful young girl who comes into their life in need of help? And who is the mysterious stranger lurking and watching from a distance?
The cast is small in number, but big in talent – Chris Hamilton once again creates a superb music score as well as taking a lead role alongside Karen Burdon, Rod Tinson portrays the dark stranger and Wendy Taylor of Rogue Theatre fame is the lost girl.
A Place By The Sea will get your feet tapping, it will make you laugh out loud whilst reaching for the tissues. Perfect entertainment for a summer’s evening.
