Sam Richardson and the Renegades continue to wow the crowds with their American roots and blues music. Sam's writing is superb and he won an Amnesty International Award in 2013 for his protest song. Sam is in the studio tonight for a chat and some tunes.

Welsh band Those Damn Crows are picking up a huge following with their hard hitting rock sound, vocalist Shane Greenhall is on the phone tonight ahead of their gig at St. Austell Band Rooms next weekend.
Tonight's studio guests are Night Motor, Mawgan and Matt make a huge noise for 2 people. With a new album about to be launched the boys drop in for a chat and some loud music!

Bude based singer songwriter James Dixon joins us for the first time tonight; James has a full gig diary, including the Isle of wight and Leopallooza and his original mix of blues/folk/roots has gained him a huge following. Tune in for some slide guitar and stomp box sounds.

A new name to the Lounge tonight as we welcome Black Water Band with their original Celtic Prog Rock sound. The band released 'Diffraction', their 2nd studio album in 2017 and their fan base numbers are rising, tune in for a female led Prog Rock evening with a Celtic twist.

Joanna Cooke has been working hard since her last visit to the Lounge, with a packed gig diary she has somehow found time to release her 3rd E.P. Tune in for some new live tunes and chat.

A brilliant night planned for all the Mods out there and especially for fans of the one and only Steve Marriott as we welcome back two very special guests; on the phone is John Hellier, the man behind The Darlings of Wapping Wharf Launderette. John is a journalist and well respected biographer, he is also the go to man when film and tv companies are making documentaries about Mod culture. We link John to our studio guest Carlton Sandercock of Easy Action Records - sponsor of Cornwall Sound Lounge. Carlton is a legend in music circles across the country and leads from the front in keeping vinyl not only alive, but cool. John and Carlton are good friends who work together on treats for music fans, their latest project is a vinyl Anthology of Steve Marriott due for release towards the end of the summer. Tune in tonight for rock n roll chat and exlusive airplay of previously unheard tracks from Steve Mariott and The Small Faces.

Indie rockers Blue River Band join us tonight, their latest album Life Imitating Art received rave reviews and they play to packed venues. Darlings of the festie circuit and regulars on BBC Introducing, their strong songwriting and great live shows combine to make them one of the most popular Indie bands on the current Cornish scene.
